Main Salon
Main Salon and Dining
The four corners of the Main Salon are anchored in large dramatic panels of shimmering Capice shell wall panels that will receive paintings. The wall panels are like pearls that contrast against the rich, warm Sapele wood mixed with furnishings in subtle tones of gold, platinum, indigo and sky blue. The metal finishes are a mixture of brushed and polished nickel.
At the entrance from the aft deck is first time you experience the Bianco Rhino stone floor, a beautiful white marble quarried in Namibia, South Africa. It is also on the dining area side buffet tops and the forward console. There is a niche designed into the forward buffet for a tall bronze sculpture. To divide the Main Salon from the dining area and give it a little privacy is a large embossed glass wave panel with edge lighting.
Day Head
The Day head is dressed to kill. The first think you see is the textured wave pattern wall
covering with brush nickel edges. Countertops and the floor is the same Bianco Rhino
as the Dining area and Main Salon and there is a border on the floor of Emperador Light
in a similar pattern to the ceiling in the Main Salon. The faucet is from Krause and is a
master piece of curved brushed nickel. The semi recessed vessel sink was custom
made by Marzi and hand painted by Atlantis Porcelain Art is fabulous and is in the same
design as the Romo Dining Chairs fabrics; interlocking parallel loops of nickel paint that
wrap the bowl. There is a single glamorous sconce on the wall from Fine Arts that has
this same detail of curved nickel and illuminates the room.
This is another example of simple repetition of themes, patterns, colors and textures to
create continuity and elegance throughout the vessel. As mentioned at the beginning,
every room should relate to where you have come from and be unique at the same
time.
